Every time I read a book by the Queen of Seduction I just think of how she has outdone herself. This book is no exception. My favorite line in the book, "Follow me baby...." as she takes another customer down the hallway in this gentlemen's club. If you haven't downloaded or purchased this book, along with the others in the series....you are definitely missing out.
Omegia Keeys has outdone herself with this first installment in the Passionate Playmates series.
I have to give it the writer, Omegia Keeys, she definitely tapped into my senses from page one to the finish. I enjoyed setting a limit for myself of reading a chapter a day so that I had something to look forward to the next day. Was it easy to do, NO! Because of the way that it flowed I could have easily kept reading to the finish.
This dirty little ditty is all sorts of fun. I have to say the cover doesn't do this short novella justice. I found myself grinning at the heroines snarky inner monologue and fascinated by the inner workings of the adult entertainment industry. Though I could have used a few commas here and there, I burned through this book in no time. It's a page turner, ladies!
From the first line, "Follow me baby..." you know you are in for a real treat. Omegia gives you a up and personal view of the secret lives of lingerie models. Ecstasy is a natural born seductress but is also well grounded in her home life. The combination of sleazy men, money hungry models, and Erika aka Ecstasy's commentary will leave you begging for more. For more by this author I would suggest Seduction.com and Can You Keep a Secret? you will see more of these characters as they evolve.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading this book. At first I thought that I was going to end up reading another author trying to emulate Zane. This was definitely not the case. Omegia has her own style that invites the reader into her world the minute you read the first line. I started reading Passionate Playmates, and by page two I knew that this was going to be my new guilty pleasure. I enjoyed reading about Erica and all her adventures. Looking forward to reading Seduction.com the sequel. PASSIONATE PLAYMATES IS A MUST READ!!!!!!!
I'm not even half way through the book and I'm not even sure I want to finish it. The story line is okay but the grammatical errors and misspelled words are so frustrating! I'm an avid reader and I guess it's a habit I've picked up over the years. For example, "Dolce and Gabbana", a company that has been around for many, many years is spelled "Dolyce and Ghabana". The book does have a Player's Club vibe and I do feel I'll enjoy the story because I enjoyed the movie. Because I hate starting something and not finishing, I will read the entire book.
The book was not what I expected. More like a short story that could have been part of something else. I wanted more!
